Product Authenticity

Our Commitment

Every product Doodleboo sells is new, genuine, and manufacturer-branded. We do not sell replicas, counterfeits, knock-offs, or unauthorized clones — ever. If an item is anything other than a new retail unit of the brand and model shown, it is not listed on this site.

What "New" Means Here

Unless a product page explicitly says otherwise, every item is:

New and unused — never owned, returned, or refurbished
In the manufacturer's original packaging wherever the manufacturer sells it packaged
Complete — every string in the set, every pick in the pack, and any parts or instructions the manufacturer includes
Original labeling — manufacturer labels and markings present and unaltered
Current retail stock, not display units, samples, or "for demonstration only" units

We do not sell open-box, refurbished, or reconditioned goods. If we ever do, it will be stated in the product title, on the product page, and at checkout — never in fine print.

Brand names, logos, and model numbers are the property of their respective owners. We use them to identify the goods we sell. This does not mean we are affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer for any of these manufacturers.

Warranty

Every unit we ship is new and genuine, and every order comes with a dated invoice so you can open a warranty claim. Coverage itself is the manufacturer's decision, not ours. Several of the brands we carry limit their written warranty to units bought from their own authorized retailers, and we are not an authorized dealer for any brand (see Brands We Carry above). Read the term shown on a product page as the manufacturer's published term for that model — it varies by brand, category, and model. It is not our guarantee that a claim will be honored.

In the first 30 days after delivery, come to us — not the manufacturer. Report a defect within 30 days of delivery and you get a free replacement or a full refund, your choice, with a prepaid return label and no restocking fee. See our Returns & Refunds policy.

After 30 days, the claim goes through the manufacturer's warranty: contact the manufacturer directly with your proof of purchase. If they ask for retailer details, email contact@doodleboo.shop and we will supply your invoice and any documentation they need. The repair, replace, or credit decision is then the manufacturer's, not ours.

Because of that, we carry the risk ourselves rather than leaving it with you: if a manufacturer declines or does not cover your claim for a manufacturing defect within 12 months of delivery, for any reason, contact us — we will repair, replace, or refund at our cost. This commitment, and everything else we promise in writing, is set out in full in our Warranty policy.

Pricing

Each item is priced at the common US retail price for that model. We do not show a manufacturer list price or a crossed-out reference price. A lower price than you have seen elsewhere never means a used, grey-market, or lower-specification unit.

If You Suspect a Problem

If we confirm an item is not genuine as described, you get a full refund including all shipping, a prepaid return label, and no restocking fee — regardless of how much time has passed since delivery. We will also pull the item from sale and audit the supply line it came through.

Signs worth reporting: packaging with misspellings or off-color printing, strings that do not match the gauges printed on the pack, or picks, capos, or drumsticks with a brand logo or stamp that is blurred, misspelled, or missing.

Reporting to Us and to Brands

We cooperate fully with brand-protection teams. Manufacturers and rights holders may contact contact@doodleboo.shop with authenticity or listing concerns and will get a response within 1 business day.
